Summary:
The Sr Manager for e-COM Supply Chain will have responsibility to oversee the Supply Chain processes, rules of engagement and overall country level Supply Chain strategy for a specific retailer channel within e-COM Supply Chain. This role reports into the Head of e-COM Supply Chain L'Oreal USA and will represent the channel across Operations, e-Commerce, Digital, Sales, Finance, Marketing for all divisions in L'Oreal (Consumer Products, Luxury Products, Professional Products and Active Cosmetics). S/he will manage the channel relationship from a Supply Chain perspective for L'Oreal USA.
Responsibilities:
The strategic objective of this role would be to utilize the synergies across multi-functional, multi-divisional teams to optimize the flow of qualitative and quantitative information between L'Oreal USA and the channel retailer, thereby identifying and accelerating consumer-centric projects that will deliver products faster to the end-consumer (focus on lead-time, on-time, in-full) at the most optimized cost (end-to-end supply chain focus). Strategically, this position will also be responsible for managing L'Oreal USA Supply Chain roadmap. The roadmap will encompass processes across the end-to-end Supply Chain from planning and forecasting to fulfillment execution and consumer experience. Tactically, this role will support the divisional Supply Chain teams in gaining the most traction as they try to improve the various supply chain KPIs for their brands/division (lead-times, costs, consumer experience). In summary, s/he will serve as the point of contact for L'Oreal USA for the channel and retailer. Expected travel is 20% between company HQ in NY/NJ and retailer HQ/fulfillment centers. Responsibilities:
Optimize Supply Chain Efficiencies:
Facilitate proper communication regarding significant current/potential operational execution problems (capacity imbalances, lead-time imbalances, labor constraints, excessive costs, etc.) to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner. Identify and implement best-in-class fulfillment processes, tools, and infrastructure suitable to the size and scope of the business. Partner closely with Demand Planning and Supply Planning leaders to ensure that the customer-sourced demand data is integrated into the replenishment plan and Supply Data is consumed and understood to enable agile decision making across all divisions. Maintain strong relationships with business partners to optimize product supply effectiveness and efficiency. Ensure Stakeholder Alignment:
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Distribution and L'USA Operations in the development of forecasting, distribution planning, orders planning, deployment, and inventory planning. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the optimal balance between customer service levels and inventory asset utilization is met. Partner with cross-divisional stakeholders to ensure the right scale for projects and ensure alignment in terms of overall cost/benefit for L'Oreal USA. CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Job Requirements The ideal candidate would have 7
years of experience. Ideally have prior experience in e-commerce planning and fulfillment, preferably with experience dealing with retailers like Amazon, Ulta, Sephora, Walmart, Target, etc.). Analytical - Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data and information Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods supply chain is expected. Additionally, specific experience in US Retail supply chains and e-commerce is highly advantageous. While general supply chain experience is critical, it would be most beneficial for the individual to have had subject matter exposure to D2C or 1P/3P e-fulfillment set up and execution. This individual must bring a proven ability to structure and conduct advanced analyses with particular emphasis on improving retailer relationships while creating a cost effective and efficient internal structure. Ideally, this candidate will have experience in broader supply chain functions and be well-versed in driving change through collaboration of these functions with the commercial organization.
